Cashing in on my Scrap Metal to pay my Mortgage!

This video is a few months old, as I have been very slack and unmotivated lately.

Things are very tough for me financially at the moment, so I have to start blogging on my site to try and make some extra money from my websites.

Anyhow here is a video I made a while back and it shows me cashing in on some of my scrap metal I managed to salvage from some friends farms, local rubbish dumps and so forth.

Unfortunately I don’t have the time now to do my scrapping due to my excessive workload in regards to my business.

As I said things are really tough for me, and things are quite dire.

Scrapping Copper Electrical Wire from Old House

Scrapping Copper Electrical Wire from Old House

Check out the youtube video I made with some pretty useful tips on how to make some money on the side.

Basically I strip an old shed of its valuable heavy copper electrical wire, check out the beautiful old jarrah floor boards that could be restored or sold, jarrah is the wooden gold of the Australian timber world…. worth a lot of money.

Making Money from Scrapping Old Australian House

Here is a video I made on scrapping an old aussie farm house, such things as the copper electrical wire, stainless steel sinks, brass and copper tap fittings and all the recyclable material that is worth some good money.

Scrapping an Abandoned Aussie Farmhouse for its Copper Wire

Today I do some Scrapping of an Abandoned Aussie Farmhouse for its Copper Wire, trying to make a bit of extra cash of the side to pay my bills, and it is working out nicely … hard work though, but very rewarding when the cash comes in.

Scrapping Old House For 50% Share of Profits Part 3 Video

I made an offer to one of my mates who is a farmer. The offer is that I go through and totally strip one of his old abandoned farmhouses for copper, aluminum, stainless steel and sort it. Basically I do all the hard work for him and sell the scrap I find and then we split the profits 50/50.

Scrapping Old House For 50% Share of Profits – Part 1

I made an offer to one of my mates who is a farmer. The offer is that I go through and totally strip one of his old abandoned farmhouses for copper, aluminum, stainless steel and sort it. Basically I do all the hard work for him and sell the scrap I find and then we split the profits 50/50.

This also includes items in the house I can sell on ebay for him.

If you want to do the same, why not ask one of the local farmers in your area. I have another farm house lined up after this job.

Hoping to make a few grand out this house.

Salvaging Scrap from Old Microwaves – Copper Wire

Inside all Microwave Ovens is a nice heavy coil of copper, usually they weigh from around 500 grams to 1000 grams (1kg) so it it definitetly worth salvaging microwave overns for the large amount of copper in them …. don’t forget copper is worth $5 a kilogram in Australia…. it does not take long to add up to 20kgs.

Salvaging Scrap from Old Teleivisions – Part 1 – Copper Coils

I decided to do a bit of a tuturial on scrapping tvs, a simple job, but a job which can give you some easy cash.

On the video, I say the the vacuum tube has poisonous gases in it, and I am wrong about that, sorry.

But if you do break the tube, you’ll still notice tiny floating fragements of glass or something rising from the broken tube, so be careful.
