Awesome News! Western Australian Red Tail Phascogale Breeding Box Success!

Scientific name: Phascogale calura
Conservation Status: Near Threatened
Body length: 11-15 cm
Weight: 35-70 g
Gestation: About 30 days
Number of young: 6-15

Distribution: Wheatbelt region in Western Australia
Habitat: The Red-tailed Phascogale is restricted to isolated patches of forest that receive 300-600 mm of annual rainfall

Description: The Red-tailed Phascogale’s fur is mostly ash-brown, which fades to white under the belly. The tail is a deep rust colour that extends to a hairy black brush at the end. At 13–14 cm, it is almost as long as the phascogale’s body.

Diet: Red-tailed Phascogales are carnivores. They eat insects, small mammals and birds. They receive enough water through their food and therefore rarely have to drink water.

In the wild: For a three-week period in July, males embark on an exhausting and fatal frenzy of mating. They travel large distances to mate with as many females as possible. During this flurry of mating activity, the males’ immune system fails before they reach 12 months of age and they succumb to stress-related illnesses and die. Females usually survive the mating season to breed a second or third time.

Threats: Habitat destruction and introduced predators such as cats and foxes are the greatest threats to the Red-tailed Phascogale.

At Perth Zoo: You can see Red-tailed Phascogales in the Nocturnal House

The Environmentally Corrupt Shire of Dumbleyung and their Deadly & Dangerous Practices

The Environmentally Corrupt Shire of Dumbleyung and their Deadly & Dangerous Practices

A couple weeks ago the East German Era Loving Freemason Controlled Shire of Dumbleyung, buried 1000 litres to 5000 litres of toxic oil, pesticides, brake fluids, and other deadly oils only 100 metres away from this extremely threatened Frog Habitat, containing approximately 7 different species of Frogs, The Banjo Frog, The Motorbike Frog, The Shoemaker Frog, The Western Toadlet, and The Moaning Frog and the extremely rare and environmentally threatened The Western Spotted Frog. and others no doubt… not to mention wildlife, such as Migrating Birds, Herons, Spoonbills, Thorn-bills, Eagles, Owls, Hawks, Ducks, Falcons, Snakes and reptiles that feed of these frogs… remember, what these predators eats goes into the foodchain… one big cycle of environmental poisoning which eventually reaches the Human Foodchain!

The Oil was specifically placed at an Oil Recycling Depot only 100 metres away from this Frog Habitat… all of this oil was supposed to have been recycled into Bio Diesel… but the Shire of Dumbleyung thought it would be a better idea to Bury it and thus contaminate the town of Dumbleyung’s Ground Water, the towns Drinking Supply and also nearby Livestock Dams.

Te Shire Of Dumbleyung’s Official Motto “see no evil hear no evil speak no evil” and their most favourite saying I’ve heard, “out of sight, out of mind… fuck the residents! As long as we get our big Christmas Bonuses at the end of the year… She’ll be right mate!

Future Updates on this are coming with Footage of the Shire of Dumbleyung Burying the Oil.
